Nestled in the hills of northwest Connecticut I discovered a small museum like association that restores and shows antique machinery.  They have a fascinating steam engine collection, where many are run to demonstrate how they work. Several buildings are dedicated to large single cylinder engines. One building is filled with traction engines, steam rollers, farm tractors and small gasoline engines.

The photos in this collection highlight the annual Fall Festivals from 2014 and 2015. There are many privately owned pieces showcased along with scores of vendors selling an infinite variety of wares.  Lumberjacks and a Jill, blacksmiths, and other trades people demonstrate their skills.
